Whaaaa? Dr Dave's Accepting Medicaid?

No need to rub your eyes, clean your glasses, or pinch yourself. Yes, you read that right! Dr. David Spainhower DDS has decided to accept Medicaid as a valid insurance, and warmly welcomes all enrollees/beneficiaries of Medicaid to be seen at our office, - beginning now!

Where did this decision come from? Well, in this day and age of private insurance policies breaking the bank, as well as more and more offices refusing to accept Medicaid Patients; Dr. Dave decided it is time to make a change.

Navigating dental work can already be intimidating enough without insurance and out-of-network setbacks, so why not allow our most underserved populations to receive the work they need? We at Spainhower Dental Care are here to be part of the solution. Our goals always have been, and always will be to improve the smiles, (and therefore lives) of others. Empowering individuals, families, and treasured patients one smile at a time.

What is Medicaid? Who Qualifies for it?

"Medicaid: An Insurance program that provides free or low-cost health coverage to some low-income people, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Many states have expanded their Medicaid programs to cover all people below certain income levels.

Whether you qualify for Medicaid coverage depends partly on whether your state has expanded its program. Medicaid benefits, and program names, vary somewhat between states.

You can apply anytime. If you qualify, your coverage can begin immediately, any time of year."
