Dr. David Spainhower

Dr. David Spainhower graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1993 and has been proudly serving the Layton, Utah community ever since. He and his wife Sherry have been married for over twenty-two years and are the proud parents of five sons. Guided by his faith and commitment to family, Dr. Spainhower is passionate about serving others through dentistry.

For over 15 years, he volunteered monthly at the Ogden Rescue Mission, providing dental care to the homeless. He also led “Dentistry With A Heart,” an annual event that offered thousands of dollars in free dental services to those in need.

Dr. Spainhower pursues continuing education beyond the required standards to provide the highest level of care. He is especially passionate about treating TMJ disorders and is the inventor of the SmartGuard, a patented oral appliance that has helped over 300,000 people in 10 countries find relief from jaw pain and teeth grinding.

He values long-term relationships with his patients and considers them part of his extended family. His warm, dedicated approach is shared by his staff, creating a practice where patients feel truly cared for.
